Rogue Valley Chapter
The Rogue Valley Chapter has been committed to coordinating the MathCounts Competition in the region. The chapter currently has 40 members.
Presently the Chapter sponsors and executes one major program:

Dr. Nabil
Taha, P.E. - President PRECISION STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING
Dr. Taha has over twenty years of professional
experience. He has designed and managed the structural aspects of
several types of structures including office buildings, schools,
banks, hospitals, commercial and industrial facilities. He has also
designed foundation and retaining structures, bridges, and tunnels,
as well as providing structural evaluation and renovation of
existing structures. Dr. Taha serves as President of PSE and is
former Associate Professor of Civil Engineering and Geomatic at
Oregon Institute of Technology, located in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
FEBRUARY 12TH
LUNCH 11:30AM - KING WAH RESTAURANT, 1182 COURT STREET, MEDFORD
The Bureau of Reclamation is currently supervising removal of the Savage Rapids Dam on the Rogue River upstream from Granst Pass. Don Rosbugh with the Boise office of the BOR will be in town on February 12 to discuss the engineering of the dam removal.
